Brazil is making the most of its natural resources.
It's not about biomass, it's about biomass growth rate. The purpose of a rain forest is to crank
out new biomass, not to sustain the existing biomass. Rainforests as they are produce little of
economic value. Not capitalizing on this opportunity is a loss for
the Earth's climate. Nothing cranks out biomass like grass and cattle, and Brazil is a king of cattle.

@jaymaron, @parsifal the Philippines is in its baby steps towards the LGBT and global warming insanity. A growing number of our churches are already preaching social justice, and our president is under incessant attack by the opposition and Leftist groups allied with it. You can say we are under attack by a nebulous woke ideology, with most of its adherents not even having a clue of what the big picture is really all about. Our media swallows Western fake news and UN and WHO dictates hook, line and sinker, and announcements from our Philippine National Police are starting to get blocked by Facebook. Marxists in our academia are subverting and recruiting college students to join the local Maoist movement, the New People's Army. Brussels had threatened sanctions if ICC "investigators" were not allowed into the country, and now they have become the conductor to the Leftist orchestra here. We're not there yet (and most don't see it as I do) but we're slowly becoming a mess. But I'm not surprised that we are as we have been warned way in advance. The whole world is circling the drain. But I believe there will be a last minute reprieve with the Trump presidency. The US will have a role to play in the coming denouement of human history (Ezek 28:7-9 - what do you think this passage is talking about? Who do you think are the actors here?). I would recommend staying in your country, but move out of cities. And steer clear of military installations. And stockpile food and water. And boom sticks. And start/get back to reading your bibles.

@parsifal the US may have a role to play with other "terrible of the nations" (read, military mights) in defeating a guy who thinks he's God and the many nations that follow him (weird, isn't it?). But it's not all good. When the allegorical "second horseman of the Apocalypse" saunters in "to take peace away from the earth, that they should kill one another", Isaiah 25:5 happens.

"Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

And...

Isaiah 29:5
"Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

After going through just these two verses, Matt 24:22 starts to make sense, doesn't it?

"And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD."

Note that "Isles" here is plural. You wouldn't want me to be hiding this from you. The only sure escape from the coming judgment is to be snatched out of terra firma before it starts. Now I'll zip it.
