@govols he stormed the Capitol building to disrupt the government, threatened government officials, and admitted to it online. Sounds right to me.
So you're saying the united states are at war with whom exactly? You're presuming an enemy status upon which specific collection of people? Treason definitionally requires an actual war, or or a determinable and specified enemy. Who among us are you saying is an enemy whom the united states government is and ought to be at war on?

Nope. I think none of them were guilty of treason, and none of them were trying to overthrow the government. Some few of them were guilty of non-trivial violence and and many of trespassing and mostly petty vandalism. Not innocent, but so far from guilty of treason that the claim itself is a mockery of reality and truth.
