I don't know what the rules are for businesses and schools everywhere but i know at least in the Philly area for businesses to open to greater occupancy they need better air filtration. i see teachers [union supporters] complaining how businesses have a higher standard than schools to open more. i know critical thinking is hard but let’s ask why this may be. businesses have a revolving door of customers of all ages that are at greater risk of transmission. schools have relatively the same people everyday and the majority of them are children who are less likely to have serious effects of the virus (statistically 0) and are poor spreaders. why do they really need better air systems? it would be just for show. and it’s not like businesses have government funds paying for these upgrades the way schools would have. thats why there are none that have gotten certification to increase their occupancy. if teachers want better air systems maybe they should pay for it out of locket if they think it’s so crucial? the government isn’t going to pay for it because if you actually follow the science logically instead if listening to them continue to ommit relevant information and spin the narrative they have no reason to waste money on better air systems for schools other than to opeese stupid teachers who want to stay home. i really wonder if they paid for the uogrades what would be their next demand before going back. they don't want it to be safe enough to go back.

If you are going to talk “critical thinking,” as in thinking through, not being critical, I was a filter engineer in Los Angeles for much of my engineering career. School air filtration in most municipalities is just fine.

The notion that school kids need more protection is unsupported conjecture. Listening to experts like Dr Frank (the “Data Guy&rdquo in reading the data from the CDC, tells you that COVID-19 is unremarkable in the general population and practically non-existent in school populations.

COVID-19 kills the already dying - mostly those in nursing homes, the ONLY place where protective measures were ever appropriate or necessary. COVID-19 kills those with pre-existing life-threatening conditions with about the same efficiency as the annual flu, for which we have had vaccines for decades, and which is not and never will be “under control.” And the annual flu this year is practically zero, for the first time in history.

Perfection is an infinite thing that can never be attained. To achieve perfection can only be attempted by granting our supposed leaders infinite power and infinite control over everything, which is what they are after.
And most teachers don't really care bout children, they only care about their bank accounts and about doing as little work as possible.
