This is new for me, I have played sports and been an avid viewer all my life but when regular people are being kept from their jobs I cannot reconcile athletes making millions.
Although the Olympic athletes are not pros and don't make millions I am not very proud of my country at this time, it's government or it's abundance of mask wearing idiots and could not force myself to cheer for people wearing the leaf. That sucks for me. I have always watched as many events as I could manage during an olympics and I am going to miss it.
All sports look stupid without the fans. I had to look to see if it was weird. it was.
