Given that racial justice warriors will take Chauvin's 3 guilty verdicts as a win for their side what impact(s) of racial justice do you foresee in the future? I think today's guilty verdict has been perceived as a validation and empowerment of critical race justice activists. The mob will believe that their threats of riot and their actual riots are the avenue of control and enforcement of racial justice in our government, corporations, healthcare, policing, education and society as a whole. I think the divide in the US just got deeper.

If you use lead what makes you think you will be protected by the law. It's time perhaps to pick up and move but my wife will not listen to me.
It's going to take a bunch of wealthy liberals to get killed before they wake up. By that time I suspect poor people like me will already have been sacrificed to the mob.

Most people want to be left alone (freedom), first. They want some level of contentment, second. They want some measure of social interaction, third.
I don't see anything that indicates This-or-That place will escape the wokesters,
the controllers, the tyrannists. I live in a place that deals in much more "local" terms, with little interest from woke outsiders. If that changes...
We have a problem, here. There are good verdicts and not-so-good. I don't have any opinion whatsoever about this verdict other than, "How do you get convicted of the same crime 3 times?" But, apparently the law allows for this so there you have it.
The real PROBLEM is that prior to this trial, you not only had mobs of people threatening jurors, the legal system, cities and neighborhoods---hell, that's a daily occurrence...no, it gets worse.
You have Politicians---no, worse--- you have the Legislative Branch AND the Executive Branch THREATENING the JUDICIAL BRANCH with Mob Retribution.
This is much worse than a good or bad verdict. This is the kind of shit that blows countries apart.

The problem started with the mob. If they had not been threatening and distracting the police Floyd may have survived.
As long as we just buy the enchilada with the BLM hot sauce we will be bummed into submission.

I was discussing this very thing w/ my wife, yesterday. Again, I wasn't on the jury and, hopefully, they delivered a righteous verdict apart from the very public attempt at intimidation.
What I said to her was, if she were threatened by more than one individual, I'd do whatever I needed to to, including making an example of one of them. I have no idea what the atmosphere was around Floyd and Chauvin. Having said that, Floyd's hands were behind his back and he couldn't breathe (which is not in doubt). To be honest, I don't know why Chauvin didn't let him on his side other than to send a message to others to stay back. The whole thing is ugly.
I agree. One of the biggest reasons this entire case has me unsettled.
I watched, NYC livestream, of a huge protest yet again with their chants of victims names, anti cop call backs, and it's all so entirely predictable.
Power and control is similar to a drug addiction. Being part of something huge, something I believe the majority of citizens who are a part of the protests believe is a true and just cause, is possibly the biggest rush someone can feel.
I don't want to fight my neighbors. I want to fight, (non violently), our negligent leaders, who quite possibly have lost control of the monster they created.
The utopia activists are struggling in vain for, is chasing the dragon. It's unobtainable, and the destruction in their wake is only further dividing us.

It's been said many times, people find their religion.
I see a lot of police resignations coming up. They won’t be in protest of the outcome or in support of Chauvin but based on their own safety and image in the communities in which they serve
The MSM is a vampire and latches onto the issue that sells and sucks it until it is dead until the next inflaming situation comes along.
Many offenders could see this outcome as tacit approval for resisting arrest and in doing so will be applauded and supported if they end up injured.
If I was a cop, I’d be out.

And the hell of it is, unlike you or I, those people have much thinner options as far as "picking up and moving."
It doesn't make sense until you understand it's driven by genetics. Liberals are driven by openness but lack conscientiousness. It's why empathy doesn't make most things better. If you refuse to systemitize the unintended consequences will always out weigh the good. Openness also means you are more susceptible to persuasion. What conservatives see as propaganda liberals see as news. It gets really confusing because the chaos caused by openness always leads to tyranny. If you can't see systems you look for people to blame. Liberals will always blame conservatives for the chaos they create.
Conservatives have their own problems but that is another story for another day.

The tyranny which is an outcome of chaos is the "ebb and flow" of systems taken to an extreme. We've seen notable cases in the 20th century. I won't get off on a tangent...
Another is what you refer to as "openness," by which I take it you mean open mindedness. We had a saying, "You don't want to be so open minded that your brains fall out." There's a lot of what might have passed for gray matter littering the streets.
I suspect you have a low regard for psychology as I do but some of it is worth exploring.
