Since 1948, the Star of David has carried the dual significance of representing both the state of Israel, and Jewish identity in general. In the United States especially, it continues to be used in the latter sense by a number of athletes.
Got nothing in common or to do with so called vaccine passports.

Everything is "dual significance" when your loyalties are "dual" because you have "dual citizenship" with Israel. The most disloyal people among us here in North America are the ISRAELIS!!!

Identification of an individual being “different” is never a good idea.
I don’t like the equivalence, though. Not being able to travel is hardly equal to what millions of unfortunate people had to suffer.

With the star of David placed by the Nazis, it was for a bad sign. Vaccine "passports" would be a "good" sign.
