Having said that I assert that CRT is utterly obviously an absurd set of ideas and a person of average IQ would recognize that fact if they looked at CRT dogma objectively.
It's common sense - it doesn't take a theologian, a lawyer, a credentialed philosopher or teacher to recognize utter stupidity when he sees it and CRT is starkly stupid.

Social Criticism seems a wee bit out of the purview of a clergyman. Seems his opinions on Critical Race Theory would carry no more weight than those expressed by a well spoken and thoughtful lay person.
I don't see why a clergyman cannot speak about social issues, especially ones with such clear moral implications. But, while I agree that his views do not necessarily carry any more weight than "a well spoken and thoughtful lay person," I would point out that he has gained much prominence in the Evangelical community due to his great learning and to his honorable and steadfast practicing of what he preaches for many decades. This may not mean much to those outside the conservative Evangelical community, of course, but it does count for quite a bit to those of us within that community. He also represents what many of us already think.
By the way, I have been a pastor for many years, and I have constantly warned my fellow believers about CRT. It is wicked, and everyone should know the danger that it poses. No pastor who cares for the people he has been called to serve should fail to warn them against such an abominable ideology.
