Pretty certain the recall effort was pretty far down the road before Larry was involved in it at all. So calling it Larry Elder's recall just sounds like something Wily would do. It is also California, they elected Newsome, they voted to start the recall, they changed their minds. Not your best work sir.

I don't think anyone changed their minds. The ones wanting him out voted. The ones who voted him in, voted (if corruption was not involved) to keep him in.
This state has been totally blue for >30 years. Only an earthquake will fix.

Oh, it happened, alright - and Californians did what Californians do - including a white woman throwing an egg at him - a black man! If he wasn't a conservative, and she a leftist, California would have instantly labelled it a racist hate crime!
I believe Larry would have done an excellent job as governor, but some people just don't know what's good for them.
There were allegations (including from Dave Rubin) that some Republicans were told that they had already voted, when they had not. I can absolutely believe that Californian voters were stupid enough to keep Newsom, but these allegations should still be thoroughly and transparently investigated.

@WilyRickWiles I'm not referring to the Elder campaign's preemptive forewarning that fraud might happen, if that's what you mean, but I think I was getting mixed up when I mentioned Dave Rubin.

Two precincts told voters that they had already voted.
This happens when mailin ballots are involved and are mailed out to every mailing address in the USPS records , plus vacant lots. Ballots are then harvested by .......... cheaters, and sold. If they correspond to an existing actual voter, the voter loses.
Yes, they are given a provisional ballot. Anybody want to place a bet on how much effort Newsom's admin will expend to deal with that?
