The way things are now (literally chaotic) we really can't count there being an election in November 2024 - hell we can't even count on being alive at that time.

The question here has nothing to do with LGBTQ civil rights. In fact progressives want nothing more than to hear conservatives attack homosexuals. It benefits the woke and increases their power. Wake up.
The real issue here is whether the role of the military is to protect the nation or promote feel-good social issues. The problem here isn’t a summertime pride parade. The problem is seeing the world’s strongest, most advanced and best-funded professional military run by a Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair who seems more concerned with “white rage” and diversity training than military issues. The problem isn’t RuPaul, the problem is Mark Milley.

It's true on the progs wanting to hear the conservs attack the homos, but that is easily diffused with the facts of that 'gays' were allowed IF discreet. Liberace is prime example, he was the one that said they were gay, in the old school definition of the sense of the word, like the Flintstones ending theme song or the Christmas song.
The real issue is that role of protection of the nation, right on; no pun intended. That concern for diversity image is the culprit and specious logic fallacy of political correctness the executioner. Whether it is McNamara's Folly of idiots or the air force's best pilot because she is a woman or the vice-president because she is colored; it is all semantics of the manipulation of narcissistic control by haughty condescending supercilious curmudgeons or their lackey minions in training.
@Weltansicht - yep - the left is highly effective at constantly baiting conservatives and we’ll keep losing the culture as long as we consistently fall for it. The truth is, the majority of Hispanics favour tighter immigration rules, most blacks want better police protection and the average LGBT person isn’t trying to take over your school board. Leftist agitators are working full time to turn us against each other. While we attack Hispanics, blacks and gays, the left continues to destroy the culture with no opposition.
If the "Sht really does hit the fan" and WWIII comes to pass nobody will give a good G-dam about "woke ideas". Believe me - pretty much ALL 1st world problems will become meaningless.
@GeeMac there is some hope, the leftists have alienated a considerable amount of traditional support voter groups. Specifically gun rights, 1st time gun owners going up more faster than during Obama's reign of terror. AND those 1st time owners are returning to buy 2nd weapons now AND during the time of record inflation, gas prices, food costs, ect. DURING the limited buying power. Makes me think when the Dems talk about/down to the people about cost of things, they are only referring to those disillusioned voters. Just my opinion but the facts of the matters remain the same & true.
Can you imagine the country we'll be living in at the end of those 34 months comrade?
If we’re counting on an impeachment saving this country, it had better try #1, #2, and #3 (all or whom are guilty of treason). Even then, we would need to have a quality #4 and #5 in the plan of succession, or we’ll just have more of the same.
I honestly can’t think of a single career politician I trust further than I could throw them (and my strength is less than half it used to be now that I’m getting old).
