Watched the video - I believe the guy who made the vid is reading too much into the clothing and boots that the shooter was wearing at the time. Below are my comments on his you tube video:

"Warfighter" - I believe this is the name of a "realistic" video game - it is supposedly VERY realistic and VERY VERY popular and well known in the "gaming community"

His clothing and shoes are a mix-mash of military issue "looking" clothes. Most of his apparel can be found and purchased in hundreds of retail stores including Thrift stores where they sell "used" clothing.

I believe he went to a Thrift store looking for military looking stuff that he could use. His boots look used - I believe he found them in a thrift store and decided to buy them because they look to be authentic Military issue boots. In fact I DO believe those boots ARE military issue - they appear to be the kind that American military wore in Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan.
No doubt a veteran or the family of a veteran donated those boots to the thrift store.

The shooter didn't really care about the boots being far too large for his own feet. He figured he was going to use them one time only - because he knew that once he carried out his plan he would either be killed at the scene of his attack or that he would die in prison. He knew he would never again wear those boots nor his cammo/military issue looking clothes after the day he carried out his "Mission".

The boots were affordable, available and good for his first and only "mission". BTW, "too large" is usable and "too small would never work; Can't get your foot into a boot that is too small.

The only thing I read into his oversize boots is that it was a one time only mission and he didn't want to spend any more money than necessary on a pair of military issue boots that he would wear only one time. Likely he thought - "these will do" and bought them.

As for his "training" - watching hours upon hours of a game like "War Fighter" a motivated player can teach himself effectively correct tactical rifle and pistol handling techniques.

Remember - he had a LOT of time on his hands. No doubt he spent hours and days on end watching, imitating, becoming a self taught "War Fighter".

As for him being under the influence of psychotropic drugs - maybe, maybe not. He said in his manifesto that he considered himself to be sane. He says he was never treated nor diagnosed for any mental illness. I believe him! But that doesn't necessarily mean that he is not suffering with some form of mental affliction. Undiagnosed does NOT mean that he is mentally sound and stable...not at all!

There are literally thousands of people who need or could be helped by getting diagnosed and treated for all manner of mental illnesses - Who have NEVER been seen, diagnosed or treated by a trained and professional Psychologist or Psychiatrist.

He blames boredom and "the internet" and social media for his crimes. That is typical projection or rationalization. Criminals do that in almost all cases. It's always going to be some external force that "made them do it" - if they admit to "doing the crime" in the first place.

Hopefully he will get the treatment he needs - like hanging or lethal injection or maybe electrocution...that will cure him of all his problems and the world will be a better place after his death.
