LINK Man arrested after tweet about killing everyone on the Supreme Court goes viral
20-year-old Mikeal Archambault was arrested on Saturday after a tweet threatening to kill everybody in the Supreme Court went viral. The threat appears to have been made in response to the reversal of Roe v. Wade.
“I’m finna kill everyone in the SUPREME COURT with my ak47,” read the now-deleted June 24th tweet. The tweet was made just hours after Roe was overturned.
Reposts of the tweet garnered significant attention online. Residents of The Colony, Texas took note of the location tag for The Colony and reported the tweet to local police. The Colony Texas Police Department (TCPD) arrested Archambault in connection to the tweet on June 26th, two days after the viral tweet.

Good...I'm glad he was arrested. as probably one of the most rabid pro-choicers I've seen, who despises the horrible trigger law in my state that bans abortion totally...violence is not the solution...especially not to the Supreme Court members who just, sort of, translated the Constitution in one of multiple possible ways.
The Constitution does not define what a person is. It protects people...but depending on your view of what a person is, you could argue the constitution bans all abortion nationwide, or that it legally mandates that all states must allow all abortion at any point in pregnancy, or you could go somewhere in between, like Roe v. Wade did, or what leaving it up to the states does.
The trigger law that has banned abortion in my state is clearly the greatest human rights abuse in the last fifty years...but all is not lost yet. We can still hop the border to Illinois to practice bodily autonomy if we get pregnant when we don't want a kid. We're not quite Iran yet...although we're certainly getting closer.
Violence is not only immoral. It's stupid. Dead Supreme Court justices would just become martyrs for people who'd probably blow up the Democrat half of the government or something.
Instead, we have to educate society...or scream...but education is the only long term solution.
That said, we should placing sanctions on nations with complete abortion bans, and ignoring their please for help when Isis attacks them as punishment for their corrupt laws...not being those nations.
Fetuses are not people. Fetuses are animals. They experience the world like animals do. Factory farming does vast amounts more harm than abortion ever could, and we're not going to make factory farming illegal.
We are at war for the soul of our nation against a great evil. We should actively fight this evil. The abortion bans that have sprung up with the fall of Roe v. Wade are oppressive, disgusting, and draconian. This must be a peaceful war of words though.
Remember to tell your relatives about how terrible the pro-life movement is. You can use the love of your family members as leverage to gain their votes for pro-choice government candidates.

@MrShittles So far as I know, Texas is the only state in the union that routinely hands out sentences longer than 20 years. It's not uncommon for a terrorist or a person who makes terroristic threats to receive 99 years. Very few people live to that age and no one I know about has lived to 119.
