It seems investor's are unaware of a recession? Hmmm? Stock market's been up for the last two days. Is profit and loss still relevant or is ESG rating now the barometer for investors?
I think it quite obvious some faction is positioning itself to expanding from simple control over the money supply to seizing total control over the global economy. Central Banks are decimating their fiat currencies before our eyes
The WEF wants to make owning an automobile illegal, expecting that if you need to you can rent a vehicle from the government or something like that. If you have enough social credits piled up or are a member of the elite itself.
The WEF is In league with the UN to finally impose a true communist regime upon the globe.
Every form of socialism imposed in the past has failed and every new form gets its own name so as to not confuse it with past failures. So far we have Marxism, Marxist- Leninism, Stalinism, Trotskyism, Nazism, Fascism, Maoism, Mensheviks, Bolsheviks, Fabian Socialism - these were not real socialism. We have yet to experience real socialism.

The WEF, UN and narcissistic GMO's are being discovered for what they are. Corporations played along for the easy money being handed out. So, what we may be seeing are capitalists playing with the socialists until the socialists burn themselves out or go home with their booby prize only to wake up the next day knowing they have been made the sucker. Socialists are losers, that's why they always lose. Let the flow of honey pour over them until the gatherers take it away.

Its always been "Buy on bad news, and sell on good news."
But the media has been spinning the market fluctuations as "unexpected" for the last 40 years whenever it can connect bad news with Conservatives, so the general public now almost universally thinks bad news means down markets. A perfect example of Leftist propaganda utterly convincing the public the opposite of what is true.

If communism or world government were in the cards, you wouldn't see things like the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the dismantling of the administrative state, and NATO's flouting of international law. No, what we are witnessing is the culmination of the (transnational) network society, the highest stage yet of capitalism. Capitalism always seeks new forms of enclosure to combat the declining rate of profit.
Anne-Marie Slaughter wrote about all this decades ago. [foreignaffairs.com] It's a compromise between liberals like Slaughter and conservatives like Peter Thiel and Pat Buchanan. Only some neocon Trots actually think it's a step toward capitalism, because it involves the withering away of the state (supplanted by a "market" of NGO bureaucracies only answerable to the bourgeoisie, however, not the proletariat). One could argue that it resembles Nazism due to the bourgeois myths and corporate dominance that accompany it, however fascism usually involves a totalitarian "decider" who can arbitrarily reconcile capital's contradictions (pick bourgeois winners and losers).

@FrankZeleniuk Haha, no problem. Well, of course I insist that this is a new phase of capitalism, the previous being neoliberalism. The buzzwords seem to be network society, technocapitalism, transnationalism, stakeholder capitalism, social entrepreneurship, late stage capitalism, and neofeudalism.
I don't think they're going to make cars illegal, btw. Though I think the first phase will be different private regulatory experiments on a state by state basis. Eventually churches will administer red states (notice the Family Research Council is now classified as a church) and liberal non profits will administer blue states.
@WilyRickWiles Well....capitalism implies there is some modicum of a market and people can buy things they want. Transnationalism might define the concept. Let's go with that.
Capitalism seems to edge it's way through history; you know, a market of sorts and black markets appear in non-capitalist states. It seems there is no shortage of authoritarians, totalitarians, wanna be Kings and Dictators that like to imbue themselves, their relatives, friends and associates with riches and privileges from the abundant production of the people - essentially where capitalists are, or by printing riches for themselves .
The problem with capitalism is that the character of business owners over time becomes sullied. Capitalism can only thrive when there is honesty, integrity, respect among the players and a sound medium of exchange. The medium of exchange is the first target of Kings, Dictators, Authoritarians and totalitarians.
How do Capitalists get sullied? They become alloyed in their relationship with Kings, Dictators, authoritarians and totalitarians who impose themselves on the market. Soon Kings, Dictators, authoritarians and totalitarians claim their corruption and the poverty of the kingdom is really the fault of greedy capitalists. After all, someone has to be blamed and must suffer.
I am in total agreement that capitalism can become tainted when the ethic is lost. Society itself then reflects a lower set of mores. The honest Kings, Dictators, Authoritarians and totalitarians then have reason to destroy the corrupt, unethical and greedy capitalists they enticed into partnership. Their next mistake is to first use the public to do so and then remove all rights and freedoms from them after because they are now a danger to politicians. Now there is a revolt and we are back to capitalism.
It's a never ending cycle. Dishonesty, collusion with governmental authority, deception, etc., must all be recognized as social destroyers. Power, as you know, tends to corrupt though.
When you start seeing force propping up a capitalist society and integrity called into question, power has corrupted it.
