It is easy for people to complain and point out the bad things, the commensurate collateral damage, objectifying the truth in a ultracrepidarian sense but not really knowing the reality of that truth.
The 9/11 event was the culmination of years of effort and even previous attempts. Fundamental Islam has no wish or desire to be a servant or slave to the hegemony of a capitalistic socialist new world order that espouses abhorrent morals and deviances. Western hypocrisy values and ethics are quite apparent and even boasted about in proclamation. America has become a vehicle for this agenda.
America has gained that her people are starting to waking up from the in-'toxic'-ation of the lullaby deceptions of corporatocracy, corporate marketing strategy, realizing the doublespeak of being a human resource; and that the government is a corrupt criminal organization, wealthy from treacherous greed and avarice, and that government is enslaving them. (Remember Joe Biden & telling that Michigan worker "I don't work for you!" )? That the only thing you can trust of the government is that it can not be trusted. The government is staffed and manned by people who do not espouse the founding principles of the foundation of government, that they swore to uphold and protect, unless, in some/many cases, you are a bureaucrat and have exemption, and apparently from even violating federal regulations.
Much like Moses and that entire generation born in Egypt, that died in the wilderness to reach the promised land, it was not that far a walk away. This generation of indoctrinated people who can not identify what they are, or know what they are, and defy the truth of real science, make believe that they know what they are talking about, may all have to die in ignorance and learned helplessness.

@WingITprod Correct, its a start. Like planting seeds in a garden but will they grow? Humanity has to grow up, not just America. Mathematically, 2 negatives becomes a positive, does it not? Only if they are willing to learn.

@eschatologyguy Yeah, I kind of think it is heading in the direction of inevitability. The people that want to be left alone want to be free to be left alone, almost lethargic. The people that want to tell everyone else what to do, including the do as I say not as I do hypocrisy crowd, want power, absolute power. Reminds me of Thomas Jefferson ~
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure. Our Convention has been too much impressed by the insurrection....
And can history produce an instance of rebellion so honourably conducted? I say nothing of it's motives. They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had 13 states independent 11 years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century & a half for each state. What country before ever existed a century & a half without a rebellion?
and when politicians, elected officials, say things like Mayor Lori Lightfoot, or California Rep. Maxine Waters, among a whole host of other incitement comments by celebrities...well.....Thomas Jefferson again....
Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them.
Proceeding that statement, he said: & what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?

@Weltansicht I think the free fall to hit bottom (and learn from the painful splat) is just beginning in the West. There are at least three generations, mine included, which believe the Star Trek model.

All I can see from the pacifists would be something like Jean from the Billy Jack movies, or Gandhi movie, or perhaps Paul Newman's character in Cool Hand Luke and the prison yard fight with boxing gloves scene and you are just going to have to kill me before I give up, that the point of domination of being right when they are wrong....
As for the Star Trek model....we are not up to speed for a first contact....and only good for assimilation by the Borg if they need bodies or the Gorn need food or a body to lay an egg in, or organic components if you use Babylon 5

But most of our most significant losses were not from outside our country. Until Americans start to show some spine, losses which have been coming since Woodrow Wilson all the way through Biden, will continue to destroy America.
