So we must now stop being tolerant. We should laugh, but not stop there. We must ridicule them.
They persist because they have social confirmation. We must destroy that very intentionally.

An Alinsky tactic is to go outside the expertise of your foe. Easy to do with leftists.
I like the idea of escalating "laugher" to "ridicule".
If leftugees go to Republican states, make sure they see that the social stigma is against them. They are not the moral majority.
