Christianity isn't primarily a set of values and the God of Christians isn't amorphous or nameless. To be Christian is to be baptized into the self-sacrificed blood of the incarnate God, Jesus Christ.
JP Sears and Jordan Peterson are being moved towards reconciliation by the Holy Spirit and I'll let God do his work in their lives. It would be great if JP would stop wearing bras in his videos, though. It creeps me out.

"Evolved spritual people" are actually backward. They are pretty much the same as those referred to in the Old Testament who existed 5000 years ago. Those I know like that generally have never read the Bible, and presume all people of faith are wrong because they must be in a religion.
Religions are human institutions, so they are flawed. But the Bible calls us to try to belong to them as groups of faithful people. More advanced people are willing to work that hard to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and in that faith, navigate religion.
Being informed will provide the information necessary to understand the difference between religious social clubs and churches that support our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Big difference, if you can get it.
Finally, religious scandal is human scandal. It has nothing to do with your personal relationship with Jesus Christ, until you turn away from Him.
Those who think they are god say: "What if...?" (No one has their back. They have to save themselves in the Universe.)
Those in Christ say: "Even if..." (They know Jesus has their back. Just as they are. Always.)
