The "rationalization hamster" in women is a manifestation of this.
Finding a solution to the issue of depopulation may take many centuries. Feminism placating typical female vices dominates the common zeitgeist, this by its nature will not see the problem nor find a solution.
I suspect it will take at least another generation before the depopulation reality is acknowledged in the common zeitgeist. At that point blame may get manufactured. It will not be a solution, in fact, I suspect, it will make the problem worse. Hypergamy may get accelerated even more and more women will end up childless. Often women do not understand their own motivations, will deny the results of their actions, and tend to do nothing in regards to mate selection. The current result is depopulation that seems to be accelerating.

Scandinavian countries and Japan have minority reversed this trend but are still below replacement levels. The Amish, Hasidic Jews, And Mormons are still above replacement levels but all are still having fewer children. The more orthodox of them having the most children.
Officially Korea has the worst birth rates at 0.84. China may in fact be worst but it is hard to tell as there data is very corrupted and this will continue. Will China reverse this trend via extreme coercion? No nation state has reversed this trend so far. Typically dictatorship only care about maintaining their power via enriching there cronies, it does not look like they would have any incentive in reversing this trend.
