Free speech is being attacked relentlessly by tech giant Alphabet (google/Utube), social media (fb/Twitter), identity politics and groups like the ADL. The ubiquitous 'they' have decided that free speech is a detriment to a society and requires we stop using hate speech as defined by the in-group. This collective movement is redefining the words, terms and language usage to accommodate 'their' paradigm shift of inclusivity. You the out-group are not consulted. The ADL has issued words, terms and handsigns/gestures that the in-group has decided are hate speech 
and micro-agressions. The intersectionalists are busy defining sex vs gender terminology, pro-noun usage, words and social cues to ensure the in-group inclusive language addresses intersectional 100+ genders, defines racist language, white-priviledge, the appropriate communication with persons of color, cultural appropriation and the hierarchy of victimhood to ensure we are politically correct at all times. Those that require persuasion to capitulate will be shamed, doxxed, cancelled from participation on social media, you may lose your job and you may be assaulted verbally and/or physically. The real kicker is this is being perpetrated on society with the implicit support and at times enforcement of our police and government. Our intelligence agencies track our lives to protect us from terrorism and probably know you have a pimple on your ass before you do. Technology has broadened our horizons and minimized our privacy. For every tech advancement designed to better our lives we give up a piece of privacy. We all believe our thoughts are our own and private unless we choose to share. Yes, I know our internal emotions can be identified by our outward reactions/actions but we knew the only easy to keep a secret was to tell no one. Alas, that idea will likely disappear in the not too distant future where AI will be able to predict behavior probability and actually capture what you think/visualize in your mind. The Orwellian thought police have arrived.
