Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.As a man who generally gives law enforcement the benefit of the doubt I will say this incident stands out as a text book example of incompetence and utter disregard for the safety of innocent civilians in the incident.
When I first saw this video I literally was shocked when I saw those cops shielding themselves behind occupied cars on the freeway.
This is clearly criminal behavior on the part of the cops. Those cops all should be tried and convicted for manslaughter at least.

I couldn’t believe my eyes! Is it incompetence, or the growing military attitude of law enforcement that is increasingly categorizing people as police, enemy combatants, or collateral damage?
Since, as usual they are investigating themselves, we will never see justice.
It is surely incompetence but it also "attitude" - I wouldn't say military attitude though.
These idiot cops obviously are indifferent to the citizens themselves.
Reminds me of something I saw many years ago while working in a steel factory. Office worker in white shirt and tie comes into the shop to look at some parts that had been returned from a dissatisfied customer. He picks up some of the parts to get a close look getting his hands a bit dirty in the process. Realizes his hands are dirty and rather than asking someone to get him something to wipe his hands he wipes his hands on the shirt of the factory worker who was helping him at the moment. I was very happy to witness that factory worker wipe his hands on the office workers white shirt. Pissed him of big time but I think it taught him a lesson about HIMSELF and how he regarded other people.
