If Pence voiced his opinion on either matter it is of no significance as to whether he is right or wrong. Maybe if you are a presidential candidate and in a debate you might want to have your facts straight and present them honestly, unlike the shit show they put on last time. Warren's big fat lie (which was proven false long ago) was a real hoot. Everyone raising their hand like they were in grade school was quite comical as well.

Although I don’t think he will ever be able to compete with a broken clock (correct 2 times a day), I find myself in the uncomfortable and unenviable position of seeing a minuscule amount of value in something put forward by wilyrickwiles.
He indicates that the VP (a highly respected man for good reason) is engaging in a campaign to calm the fears of the American people. This is where I agree with him. As far as blame or any sort of wrong-doing goes, I disagree. I believe mistakes are made by everybody, because we are not perfect. The motivation to calm the American public is based in the constitutional responsibility of the leaders of the nation. Causing a panic helps nobody and leads to greater danger to the nation and its people. I would not have handled the job exactly the way the as Exec branch, but I believe they are doing a phenomenal job as imperfect people with pure motives.
Communication (or communication breakdown) is a factor in the problems that have arisen. They are doing their best to resolve that. There are way too many people who see this as an opportunity to find fault and sabotage the administration. They are the true villains here. This is a time to come together as we have in the past. Maybe if 2,900 people die because of the sabotage of the evil people in our nation (and mistakes of those who trying to doing good) then we will come together against this common enemy (WuFlu/covid19) like we did on 9/11. Or maybe the left is too far gone; only time will tell.

The real danger here is whether people will die because they can't trust the government and panic based on poor information. Mutual aid is one thing, but your post reads as a veiled threat that the left conform to your ideology as well.

That stuff is garbage. Typical skin of truth wrapped around a bunch of hate-driven unproven speculation dressed up as fact. Scratch that surface and it all falls apart like a house of cards. If it feels right to you, you will not bother. Confirmation bias is not being rigorous about checking what you already believe is true.

"All the News That Fits We Print" could be the New York Times motto, and the concept of reducing conflicting statements by the government does not fit their narrative, so they accuse the Vice President without evidence that he is engaging in a "cover-up." Anyone who buys the new York Times is an idiot who needs someone else to tell them what to think.
