I've always believed Pence's integrity is beyond question. But there are none righteous, not one. So I'll now be a little more watchful about him as well.
At the beginning of the Trump administration, I didn't like that he chose not to replace Comey immediately. But he came to his senses. Hopefully, if this concern is legit, Trump will figure it out and get rid of all those connected with Birx. That would seriously hurt him if he had to sideline Pence - that is if he waits until after the re-election. If he drops Pence as his running mate before the election, that will actually hurt his chances of re-election since Pence is the reason a large percentage of America's Christians have joined the Trump train. So I don't think that will happen.
