And category/mfg sections have gone from a dozen sections to less than six units, or disappeared altogether. Stores are using deceptive methods to hide sections no longer there. And packaging is getting smaller and/or thinner. Among the things purchased lately were some pork chops on sale. For instance what used to come in one pound lots are likely 12 oz. now. Hot dog and hamburger buns are often fewer in number than before. Hubby hadn't noticed until he went to prepare the chops that they were ridiculously thin sliced, just shy of 1/2 inch.
Prepackaged prepared full meals are also distinctly smaller in quantity while prices are inching up (for less product).

You pay more for less. They print some more money and the ordinary person spends all they have just to survive. Inflation bights and your sayings disappear. That very small group that control the money flow create wealth for themselves out of thin air at your expense.
