The #MeToo fad is just misogyny, without the self-awareness.
It projects women as weak, helpless, and at the mercy of men's behavior and intentions. They think they need to step in and reeducate all the "man" out of men, because women are just too fragile and malleable to deal with it. They especially target young men and boys, while they're still impressionable and more susceptible to bullshit.
They need to get to know some real women like Deana Martin, before they're all gone. And read some history, where women have been tough as nails when they had to be, and were often the real authority in the household or business and everybody knew it, whether they said it out loud or not.
Real women are responsible for their own decisions and actions.
If somebody forces you into something, that's assault.
If they talk you into it, that's your decision. Own it.

Years ago I read an piece along the same lines as this, only it was talking about all the assistance programs for blacks that the progressives claim they need in our society. Only the article talked about how those folks were the true racists as they were saying a black person could not possibly get where they want to be in society without a handout from liberal white people. I think Walter Williams wrote it but can't say for certain.

OBVIOUS ALERT—Men can be real dogs. And balls make you crazy. Not a justification; but if you’re going to get into the cage with the beast, it would behoove you to make some effort to understand it’s nature.

Clue #1: don’t take a late night meeting in a hotel room when no one else is present and he opens the door in a bathrobe.

Clue #2: If you walked away with an Oscar, or a $2,000,000 NDA, then you’ve identified both your true priorities and your actual profession. Shut the fuck up.

Harvey Weinstein is a pig. No question. His very existence gives decent men a greasy, soiled feeling. I hope they nail his ass. But #METOO has nothing to do with women, particularly women who aren’t affluent, fading celebrities looking for payback over bad choices and one last image boost. Like the so-called feminist movement that spawned it, #METOO is about political power and wielding a weapon against men, and further validating the social engineers who would happily regulate and legislate men out of existence.
