Alan Dershowitz a very liberal constitutional scholar goes on Life, Liberty and Levin to talk about the Trump impeachment and a few other issues. The man is brilliant, I disagree with him on a number of issues, but he is an honest, forthright person who believes in honorably discussing issues. We need more intellects like him in the world today.

What makes you think he isn't? There isn't any evidence of any malfeasance by Dershowitz. He knew Epstein but that is all we have. I don't think he ever went to pedo island, like many others did. Epstein was a businessman who knew a lot of people, does everyone Epstein knew, including Trump and Clinton get flushed down the toilet with him?

Dershowitz is a bit of an Enigma to me. How can someone so brilliant be a Constitutionalist, A scholar and a "liberal" at the same time. I suppose if he is a "classical" liberal then it all makes sense but I get the feeling he thinks of himself and a member of the modern leftist "liberal" set.
If he were younger by about 30 years I think he would make a good member of the Supreme Court. Unless I have completely misinterpreted him I believe Dershowitz is very much a textualist thinker of the US Constitution - none of this "living breathing document" nonsense coming from him that I know of.

I think so too. He supports the right of a woman to have an abortion, but finds nothing in the constitution to guarantee that. So he would vote to uphold laws banning abortion, because they don't violate the constitution. He is one of those rare individuals who can look at an issue and put aside his feelings and look at the correct reading of the case.
