I disagree with this assessment of that move. It was meant to divide the American people. The more progressives radicalized to the point of violence with this the better. It's like all the terrorist plots the FBI has busted since 9-11 have all been plots they made up, they recruited for, and then busted, entrapment on a grand scale spanning decades at this point. The more division the more the FBI can keep Americans thinking the FBI has purpose.
It's like the CIA creating the phrase "carzy conspiracy theory/theorists". They came up with that because too many cistizens were getting too close to the truth of how the CIA operated with no over sight of any kind, and actually worked against the best interests of the country for it's own gain.
