That could be translated into people who live in their own city state with walls, gates and armed guards are in no position to tell others not to protect their own lands.
Also I don’t think the Catholic Church is in any position to criticise anyone about anything.

Growing up as a RC, we knew the priests were gay and the nuns were les, we just didn't talk about it. I didn't know about the pedophilia until the very first priest to be publicly accused of it lived in the next town. As I grew older I began realizing they were all hypocrites..sin all week and on Saturday if you confess to this perverted priest and say few Hail Mary's, you're forgiven. I am no longer a practicing catholic.
