Same situation here in Canada. The Progressive Globalist government is trying to remove all semi-auto rifles from vetted, licensed law abiding Canadians supposedly because it will make us all safer. But that is so obviously not what it’s about. It’s about disarmament. Which begs the question ... What do they want to do to us that would get them shot?

A couple of problems I have with this video. First this guy throwing out numbers like 90% of all crimes are committed by gang members. I simply don't believe that. It makes me think of the global warming alarmists that keep saying 90% of ALL scientist have agreed that man made global warming is settled science and how government should do something.

But more importantly such a law is very much against our Constitutional guarantees such as unreasonable search and seizure, and innocent until proven guilty, and the right to due process. If something is wrong you simply fight against it, you don't compromise so you just violate rights of that section, or this of society. Rather than this telling me democrats are against the Second Amendment this tells me there are plenty of republicans willing to work with them to undermine the Constitution bit by bit, they just step up to help some waffling GOP backers to be willing to let wrongful laws pass because they make it sound like it will just be focused on "those" people over but as long as good law abiding republicans don't join gangs they don't have anything to worry about. The fact this guy is willing to compromise on our liberty with this wolf in sheep's clothing of "safety" tells me the guy is a traitor.

Just because he might have a clause that adds gangs as a special focus let's remember folks they are criminals, what do they care about the laws. I remember when the idea of confiscating property used in drug deals was such a great idea to help fight gang violence. Do some research on how readily law enforcement used these laws to steal from anyone they pull over. A large part of all police departments budgets comes from forfeiture laws, and lawmakers have only made it easier for them to use these laws to steal from everyone. The last few years law enforcement have stolen more property from citizens with these laws than has been reported to them through crimes that have not been made legal.
