You may have heard that Kelly Loeffler, the appointed Republican senator from Georgia, and her husband, along with several other senators engaged in insider trading on information about the novel coronavirus pandemic while downplaying it publicly. What you might not know is that she is the wealthiest member of Congress and her husband runs many of the worlds stock exchanges, including the NYSE. Can't think of a better position for an insider trader to be in!

@WilyRickWiles I stand corrected. I did see something to that effect when reading articles on this matter. Diane Feinstein is guilty too. So be it. Personally, it doesn't bother me so much. In the case of the Trump Economy hitting record highs regularly, it is hard to imagine that wealthy investors would not be taking profits during peak highs that were reached previous to this unique anomaly in the market. They will likely prove these trades were made by third party managers.
