Given the extremely long duration of the latency of COVID-19, it won't make any difference anyway. You can see that in every country which tried different things to "flatten the curve."
None of it worked, probably because the virus had a 2 month free head start with no one aware, then another month before anyone started to take it seriously. You could see all of that in the countries all around the globe that had infections become evident all about the same time around the first of February.
So by then everyone had been exposed and it became only a matter of how many people in your population with prior conditions it was going to take out. This doesn't make it much more dangerous than the flu, because it is roughly the same thing that has been happening for eons.
The difference is that we are now all suddenly aware of it in excruciating detail. Its a bit like reading a book on diseases. Suddenly we have all of them, feel vulnerable, and are terrified.
