I love you too
I can't wait to see this again from my home country. To see my compatriots stand up to the lies they've been forced to believe for years and finally take back the world we fought for in world war 2, rather than giving in to the socialism Hitler wanted to see throughout Europe. We fought socialism and then turned around and cheered as it came to our doors.

The Buffs - East Kent Regiment - WW1 Ypres
"on 22nd April, [1915] a gap formed in the line when French troops retreated from a gas attack. This gap left the Canadians' flank exposed and Lt-Col Geddes of the Buffs was ordered to plug the gap. He had at his disposal the remnants of his own and 3 other battalions, known as the Geddes Detachment. On 23rd April they advanced in daylight by platoon bounds under heavy fire and gained some trenches alongside the Canadians. On the 24th, B Company was placed under Canadian command but after a prolonged resistance was overwhelmed by the Germans." - [britishempire.co.uk]
What is not mentioned in this synopsis -
"From the moment of their arrival on the morning of the 23rd they rendered loyal and courageous assistance. During the retirement now being described they displayed marked courage and coolness, in fact at no time during their association with the 13th did they fail to meet any call, no matter how severe, that was made on them. The Royal Highlanders would deeply regret if by any mischance adequate recognition were not afforded to the gallantry these troops displayed." - [ia800201.us.archive.org]
On the 24th, the Germans gassed and caused the retreat of the 15th Can. Battalion to the right. The right point was now held by the Buffs followed by Can. No. 1 Coy. Shortly thereafter, the order to fall back was given. However, that order did not reach Company 1 or the Buffs. The Buffs, held their position to the man until they were cut off and captured.

My Dad, WW II Vet, told me that not have France as an ally when going to war, was like forgetting your violin when going into combat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Serg97 The French Turcos (Algerians) were given the choice to withdrawal or drown as their lungs filled with liquid from being gassed. Many of them died in their trenches. Some gathered to the flank and fought bravely to hold the point created north of St Julien. Everything I've read notes that their retreat was no fault of the soldiers. #notallfrencharecheeseeatingsurrencermonkies
