I was kind of hoping more of you would comment on Quora. The site get high SEO, meaning it gets found by good more often.
And maybe there are some people here who can step up and provide more complex thought about when the use of force as part of protest or the use of vigilante violence is warranted.
Certainly no one has to answer that question, but overall I am seeing if there are people with more in depth thoughts on this site.

It is a question my fingers typed.
There are people who, in the support of the riots which accompany protests, do support violence in support of their cause.
I don't think that is the best tactic, even though I might agree with part of the motivations of the protest.
The question is to cause discussion of the related issues.
Feel free to not participate. Or you could up your game and do participate.
Doing so on Quora has higher SEO and your thoughts will be viewed by more people.
Looters should be shot by business owners. Unfortunately then there will be the legal ramifications.

The danger here is that if people justly defending themselves are then penalized by the justice system, then that system shows itself to be illegitimate. This is how the street battles will escalate -- and we're seeing it start to happen.
