Baptists, Catholics, protestants and Jews have shared these hospital chapels since their inception. Why are we now having to change for the Muslims who can't get along with anyone else?? Because Muslims do not assimilate they just want to take over.

Hello there. There are always people who just can't or don't wish to get along with others - they're annoying. But it doesn't mean that we can ignore them or shoo them especially if you are the operator of a facility where you have to deal with the general public. As the operator of such a facility, you are obliged to provide them with support that meets their basic requirements so as to let them get on with it. You don't have to get at each other's throat.
I have a nurse friend. Once she looked after a Muslim patient. He demanded that he needed to be accommodated in a separate room so that he could pray on his own. My friend told him "This is a hospital, not a hotel. You're treated according to your doctor's diagnosis and judgement and that includes in which room you should be kept. However, you're free to find a quiet corner or an unoccupied room in the building where I'm sure you can pray alone quietly." Sometimes, we all need that strength of my friend's. I don't like passive aggression.

Why would an Atheist go to a hospital chapel? That doesn't make sense in his hypothetical world.
It's the norm in some European countries to facilitate all religions equally by providing a place of worship, be it a prayer room(not a code for Mosque in his unreal world) or time off to attend church. In a Christian dominated country a Christian individual can simply pray anywhere if the urge takes them. Praying in the Islamic faith is a little more complex.

You are dead wrong here and I'm telling you this as an ex-Muslim. Muslims are allowed to pray anywhere Muhammad said "The Earth was made for me Masjid (mosque) and pure/clean." So there are really no real accommodations that are necessary for Muslims (maybe just some access to water and they can manage even without it if it comes to it!)

In fact, banning footwear is not even needed at all. In fact, Muhammad said "Be at odds with the Jews, they do not pray in their shoes nor slippers." instructing them to pray in their footwear (and yeah, not doing what Jews or Christians do is a thing in Islam). He however made it allowed not to do so. However, over the years, not praying in footwear became the norm among people despite being the original order/preference.

As for Christians, when did it require having seats to pray?! Isn't it bowing, kneeling... in the Bible?!

So, a shared room near a bathroom (for access to water) or not, carpeted or not, with a few chairs for anyone who'd prefer or need to sit (elderly Muslims or if having difficulty standing can pray sitting), and with footwear allowed, should be enough! If a Muslim disagrees, tell them to go learn their religion.

Said being said, why should tax payer money be spent on this and to "facilitate religion" in the first place?!!!

@WorldSigh I detect you might be offended by my quip about religious stories. Perhaps it's because the religious Book i referred was inspired by your particular god that has irritated you. I'm not singling out the Bible in particular. I think all religious books are full of man inspired fantastical tales, but hey, each to their own. This immovable tower of emotional strength you imagine(if it exists outside your imagination) can be found in numerous places i presume or maybe it's only to be found in religious text, it's down to personal interpretation. I can't speak for all Atheists but much more truth, beauty, wonderment and knowledge can be found outside of bronze age superstitious writings.
On a side note. the number of people who believe in something has no relevance to its validity.

I used to be an atheist myself. I discovered I didn’t have enough faith to continue accepting that everything came from nothing, or even that life came from non-life. Of course, abiogenesis isn’t for everyone. Not to worry, God loves atheists, too. I’m living proof.
