Caring deeply without urgency? This damned election. I care deeply about what it means to the future, but I'm not as desperate for an outcome as so many seem to be. Evidence? The public space of current demand for information isn't the place for the presentation of evidence, but for story telling. The place we created for evidence is the courts. The States that are under dispute have processes for deciding electors, and evidence that the processes are flawed aren't really part of the processes themselves. You can't challenge the process prior to its resolution because in court you wouldn't have standing. You can raise hell and tell the story you're watching develop, but you really have to hold your cards close until the proper forum becomes available.
I'm blessed with patience, I suppose.....

I feel a certain degree of obsession with it. Obsession is tiring. I'm also not keen on posts and comments of a speculative nature regardless of the topic. Sigh.

I'm with you. I would like to see a daily update of just freaking facts, presented in maybe a few paragraphs, but largely just wish we'd all pipe down until we have a result that's either valid or ripe for a challenge. Still, the narrative are important to both morale and the outcome, so I can't really blame the combatants for the ongoing attempts to spin. Still, damn, ease the hell up maybe?
