@Tom81 Capitalism is a global system. The US has hegemony over it. Both major US parties are capitalist.

Using slave labor from countries that have no individual rights, is a hack that global corporations use to corrupt the whole thing in their favor. That's more like Mercantilism, with the U.S. and Global interests standing behind them to get their cut.
We can fix that, by helping to establish human rights around the world. But first, we need a refresher on the whole topic for people who call themselves "Americans".
If we continue to fail at that, it's all over anyway... for everybody.

@WilyRickWiles haven't heard that before. I guess because it worked reasonably well (people certainly rejected communism over it). There's a reason why communism can only be achieved through force, through lies, deception and fraud (and ALWAYS fails), whilst capitalism has worked from the time immemorial.
What great example of communism working have you got? North Korea? China? Venezuela? I'm sure their citizens are so better of... and not starving or oppressed.
