I havent been able to post links for a while on here, so i don't really share him, but he comes swinging from the tech side and he whoops on tech bs.
I watch young turks some to know what flavor the manure is for the day.

i tend toward podcasts when possible because they're more portable for me. the only current events "talking heads" I bother with very often is sargon and scott adams. I just don't care much anymore, they amuse me enough to bother.
Almost everything else I listen to is history, philosophy, theology, or just interviews or conversations.

@govols yeah, i do a bit of knuckle busting and just play that stuff in tge background. Slowly i understand over years of interest
ShoeonHead...that's the only one right now. She's hilarious, makes short, intelligent videos, has a way of informing viewers about the news and aspects of culture in important ways, and does her research well.

I believe I'm to her right, politically, but I agree ShoeonHead does have some good content.
@DaveO276 Yeah...she tends to appeal to people with a diverse array of political views, at least now and then.

Yes! They're all great Youtubers! Russel Brand - not so much, but I do watch him occasionally. He's the kind of communist a person can sometimes have a half decent conversation with. It's also good to get a variety of perspectives, and he does, at the very least, make a pretty good effort to do that.
@DaveO276 exactly. He doesn't hate anyone, and he treats people with respect. He has also repeated time and time again that he doesn't want a debate, he wants a dialogue, because dialogues are what creates results.
Even when he's far into one of his "capitalism is the root of all evil" rants he's quite palatable. The fact that he has no filter helps a lot too. Refreshing.
I like russell brand because he has a whole istic approach, covering personal growth just as balanced as broad picture world affairs.
RB is a goodfaith agent and open so is watchable.
