In my lifetime doctors have increased prescriptions 6 fold. But people are sicker nowadays. Doctors drugs don't work. Everyone has side affects.

@Hanno I blame capitalism for what it produces and the poor incentives it creates especially for public goods. I blame racism for the things historically linked to racism and perpetuated by capitalism. I'd appreciate if you could stay on topic. You don't see me chasing you from thread saying "LOL he blames the defunct system of communism for everything he doesn't like!"

I will however return to the original topic.

In South Africa between 1997 and 2007 the communist party pushed the ANC government to bring in Cuban doctors who could only speaking Spanish in a country where no one did. This was payback for Cuban support of communism in South Africa during Apartheid, and to help Cuba. The communist Cuban system produced too many doctors and this financially helped them.

These doctors were placed in areas without translators and prescribed all kinds of medications without asking any questions.
This was worse than the OP described and it was done by a communist party influencing the government by communist doctors to drive their socialist goal of free medical care for all. It was predictably a disaster and cost the country greatly.

So your original claim that this is due to capitalism is rubbish.

And yes, when it became clear it was a disaster the communist party of South Africa claimed it was racism why the Cuban doctors failed.
Even though the Cuban doctors were only employed in primarily black areas and white and Indians were not involved at all.

And hence my first comment about how it is racism’s fault.
Next time I will explain the context first so you understand my frustration with your first comment.

It is a universal fact of medical services everywhere. It had NOTHING to do with capitalism or communism. These issues existed in the USSR as it did in the USA as it did in South Africa as it did in Japan.

You always blame either capitalism or racism and the actual cause of these issue you completely fail to identify.
And since you always blame either capitalism or racism you are completely unable to see the actual cause of these issues... and hence I stated that you and people like you will never solve the worlds real problems because you are blinded by pre-conceived beliefs.

This is a perfect example where capitalism is just as innocent as communism and yet you blame one of them.

And no, I did not respond to the OP Meme I responded to your comment on the OP meme that it is all because of capitalism.
I used the South Africa and communism example to show you you’ve got it wrong.

All those shrinking number of hospital beds in Mozambique and Angola during socialist rule.

Mmm, interesting that capitalist countries have more beds per capita than socialist/communist countries and more access to high level medications and treatment.

I am not blind to the problems of capitalism. There are many issues and problems. But compared to socialism... I would much rather deal with capitalist issues than socialist ones. And the fact that every refugee wants to come to capitalist countries and not go to socialist ones... tells me I am not the only one.
