Preservatives: used them for millennia, salt, sugar and alcohol are all preservatives. Feel free to stop using them.
Fluoride: in nature all teeth bearing animals use fluoride to strengthen their teeth. Whatever fluoride in food you eat or water you drink will be utilised by your teeth ... this has been happening for millions of years.
Antibiotics: invented by fungi and saved my life at age 10. Would be dead without it... so would billions of people since we figured it out. Very few people alive today have not experienced the benefit of antibiotics first hand.
Fertiliser: feeds 60% of the worlds population. Without especially phosphate fertiliser, earth’s population would be limited to less than 4 billion.
Medicinal side effects: you are welcome not to use medicine. See you next time you have tooth ache or one day suffer a serious disease.
The rest is only bad in excess... and that is because there are too many of us who wants too much. Humans are lazy, greedy, selfish and entitled.
Blaming science for human nature...now that is not smart.

Science also created nuclear weapons that destroyed two cities and made billions of people live in fear .
It also stopped major wars from happening.and saved millions of lives.
Science created lead in petrol, that permanently reduced the IQ of modern children for generations to come.
Science also showed us that folic acid during pregnancy help brain development and stop other deformities.
Science is not good or bad. We are just not as smart as we think we are.
Extended life expectancy and near elimination of absolute poverty. There is always the good, the bad and the ugly.

After watching three close family members literally waste away around age 90, I'm not so sure increased life expectancy is a good thing. 
My mother was 95 when she died enjoyed every day up to the end. Everyone's experience is going to be different.
As recently as 1900 the life expectancy was under 50. I'm a quality of life person myself but that is a longer discussion.
@wolfhnd Likewise. I do have family who lived full-productive lives past 90, but they were there product of another era. I can't ignore the advances of science in my own life, but regarding the original post, I can't deny the ill effects of what we've done to our food sources. Like you noted, there's bad with the good.
And we wonder why, as we enter our so-called golden years, our bodies hate us...
