I had written to Epoch Times asking them to do an in-depth article on the shortage of good officers throughout the Blue cities in this land. I have always backed the Blue and cannot imagine how they can continue to work in cities where the administration is outright not supporting them and the citizenry left free to abuse the shit out of them treating them as abased targets to vilify and attack. The "good citizenry" are in most cases hiding and terrified of what has taken over. In the "old days" officers always had to deal with the lawless underbelly of civilization and it takes one hell of a person not to be tainted by that exposure. Now that underbelly is running the show. I suspect the shortages forces are facing has reached an alarming rate of early retirees, relocationers and career changers. I would also suspect private security, a far more lucrative and growing field, is growing exponentially. Do you @Serge97 have access to this kind of information?

Private security can not provide the service that COPs do!!!
So far, COPs are protected form being sued personally, private security is not, and COPs may loss that in the near future!!!
THEY take that away from COPs, "Katy bar the door", the SH-T WILL hit the fan!!!
@Serg97 You completely misunderstood my comment. The private security was an option for good cops to go to instead of living with bad administration.
Private security could never be used for policing.
The Chauvin case has set precedent for all cities to remove protections from police officers and you can bet the blue cities will go there a.s.a.p.
I was married to a wonderful cop. I know the life and what they used to deal with. Now those issues are magnified 1000 times. With BLM, Antifa and the Dems I cannot understand why most cops in these cities have not resigned or taken early retirement.
