The real story is that she felt perfectly comfortable and at ease that she would suffer ZERO consequences from saying these things. She didn't care if it became a headline, or if people were aghast. She is part of a society now that can say pretty much ANYTHING they want, so long as it does not oppose woke progressivism.
I have spoken at length about WHY woke progressivism so intentionally dehumanizes those it considers to be either outsiders or ideological opponents: it's much easier to commit violence against those you don't acknowledge as human. We see it in dribs and drabs in the news every day; this week alone we've heard of a 300lb man beating a white woman at a gas pump and at Amazon driver beating an elderly white woman for not "checking her privilege." They are normalizing the violence by dehumanizing the victim.
Or basically, what Gina Carano alluded to in Weimar Germany, which ironically got her fired by Disney.
