Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Canceling public funding of gender studies would save tax dollars and make for a healthier and happier society. I'm not opposed to spending tax dollars addressing the history of sex discrimination or female issues. I'm not a libertarian. Those programs however should be at least scientifically valid to the extent anything in psychology or sociology can be. Which isn't very much. History is complex and what we know about biology tentative so there isn't much that can be taught to undergraduates. The important thing is to teach that we are all victims of history and biology but at a personal level we can build ourselves some level of agency and dignity.

@WilyRickWiles Well, when you spout gibberish, perhaps it reflects poorly on a) your academic credentials and b) the journalistic integrity (if there is such a thing) of the person who publishes your claptrap. And perhaps that warrants a retraction. If so, that doesn’t sound like canceling.
