NFL superstar JJ Watt to pay for funerals of Waukesha massacre victims

Arizona Cardinals player and Wisconsin native JJ Watt is reportedly covering the funeral costs of the victims killed in Saturday's vehicular attack on a Christmas parade in Waukesha, the athlete's hometown. The Pewaukee High School and University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate reportedly made the announcement through local media this week, according to Fox News.
"J.J. Watt is covering the funeral costs for everyone that lost their life in the Waukesha Christmas Parade. That is an amazing gesture. He has such a huge heart," wrote sports writer Cory Jennerjohn on Twitter.

To date, six victims have died as a result of Darrell Brooks allegedly plowing his SUV into a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Dozens more were injured.
Of the six victims identified so far, 81-year-old Wilhelm Hospel, 79-year-old Virginia Sorenson, 71-year-old LeAnna Owen, 52-year-old Tamara Durand, 52-year-old Jane Kulich, and 8-year-old Jackson Sparks have passed away.
Following the tragedy, Watt said he was "horrified."

Brooks was arrested charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide following Saturday, with the potential for a sixth count to be added after Sparks’ death. He is currently being held on $5 million bail.
