My read on verse 11 is 'For I am with you - the Word of HaShem - to save you; for I will bring annihilation upon all the nations among whom I have dispersed you, but upon you I will not bring annihilation but will chastise you with justice, but I will never eliminate you completely.'

However, I was raised secular and the only temple shul/synagogue available to me was a Reform congregation known as Sinai Temple. I was asked to leave when I questioned the rabbi; politely saying thrown out is my view.
