I don't support Zelensky because he is a paragon of democracy.

I support Zelensky because he is a paragon of democracy compared to Putin, and because Russia is still an enemy of America and the west to begin with, regardless of who is in charge.

Putin declared way back in 2000 that he wished to reinstate the Russian Empire. Ever since then he has been overtly telling western politicians that "Ukraine isn't a Country". He famously went into a hissy-fit about it with George W. Bush during a NATO-Russia meeting in 2008.

In 2017, when Putin visited the US, he was invited by then-President Trump to his private residence in Mar-a-Lago for informal talks, as it's usual with US Presidents with the Presidents or Prime Ministers of other Countries. Once again, Putin touched the Ukrainian issue.

Trump warned him that, if Russia made as much as another step west in Ukraine, he would "empty the silos" and send the nukes flying. Putin reportedly became as white as a bed sheet and asked Trump if he was serious. To which Trump winked and answered: "I will make sure that those beautiful golden domes on top of the Kremlin will be a memory of the past."

If you remember, back then, the news leaked to the press and of course Trump was accused by the leftists of "bringing America to the brink of nuclear war with Russia". But it's a FACT that for the whole time that Trump was at the White House, Putin didn't dare move a step in Ukraine.

Why? Because Putin knew that "end forever wars" wasn't, and isn't, tantamount to America abandoning its geopolitical interests, particularly the containment of potentially hostile nations (eg. China or Russia itself). And because being an autocrat himself, Putin knows only the language of force, and is the only thing that he is really afraid of. He knew that Trump wouldn't be afraid to use force to protect the geopolitical interests of the US if push came to shove, and he wouldn't risk it.

He moved on to conquer Ukraine, threatening US allies in Europe and the NATO alliance as a whole, because of Biden's weak and corrupt "leadership" make the US weak as they've never been before.

I shall add that, Biden in charge or not, a conservative like Ronald Reagan would already be in Odessa with the Marines. Regardless of who is temporarily in charge in DC (and believe me, the old kiddie-sniffer will be in charge VERY temporarily), a real conservative wouldn't abandon America's geopolitical interests.

It's not only the administration, but the whole corrupt Congress!
