I guess it depends on how you define stability, peace, prosperity. I would argue that all of those places in the time period you mentioned ALL had the very same problems all human civilizations experience - inevitably. It is also worth noting that "back then" prior to the American Civil war there was no such thing as penicillin, refrigeration, no manmade substances to spray crops in a field; starvation and other diseases for lack of knowledge of how to "treat them" ran their courses and many thousands of people died prematurely. No sir - "things were NOT better in those places in those times.

True world population is about 8 billion but the earth can easily sustain that number. The ONLY problem is distribution of food, potable water, etc. The primary explanation for starving masses and homelessness in 3rd world countries is that the Government officials in those places are corrupted and stealing the assets sent by USA and other "Western Nations" then selling those things on the "Black Market.

People escape to corrupt, polluted, overpopulated places, and bring their corruption and over population and bad attitudes with them, so they can make it like what they escaped from.

They are invited and encouraged to come to USA with promises of being gifted all of the things that True American Citizens have made for themselves - Housing, personal and efficient mass transportation, jobs or if not jobs then money for food, housing, etc.

True! the CPUSA (formerly known as the Democratic Party are methodically tearing down all of Americas legacy institutions. They are intentionally driving a wedge between the citizens and their government. They are intentionally destroying the American Family via the so called "culture war" - Our daughters, sisters, girlfriends and wives are hypersexualized; Porn use is no longer regarded as a perversion or as objectification of marital sexual intercourse. Boys and men (especially White boys and men) are being systematically emasculated - turned into weak and passive almost helpless entities. I don't believe there can be any denying it - The American "family unit" is under attack.
