I was one of the fools who believed it when I was told it was irresponsible to have too many children (back in my college days). I foolishly got the snip after 2 daughters. I have regretted it ever since. I’m so glad my oldest daughter married a man who had 10 siblings and they have given us 5 grandchildren… so far. My youngest daughter got a late start and married an older man who got snipped after 3. Each one of the grandchildren has been a unique blessing. We’ll be glad to get to know number 9 when he or she comes along.
Both of my daughters got their undergraduate degrees and worked in their chosen career fields before their first child came (both within the first year of marriage), at which time they chose to be like their mother and accepted the higher calling to be a stay at home Mom. Both sons-in-law are “leaders of men” and my youngest son-in-law has made it to the rank of Major in the military. I have no doubt he’ll make it further than I did. They are raising the future leaders of this country and hopefully many of the girls will choose the high calling of raising the next generation of godly leaders.

We all went for the red herring story. But we outgrew that as we outgrew the one about the tooth fairy. Sadly, many still believe in the WEF version of the tooth fairy story.
