A person’s speech can be curbed by physical threat, but not the thought it represents – can it?

Carried even farther, liberty is the ability to be free in ones speech therefore free in ones thoughts as well? And the only purpose of government is to protect and facilitate that individual liberty to think and express ones thoughts thru free speech?

It’s puzzling to me as to why so many people from all areas of the political circle mentally separate ‘speech’ from ‘thought’ when neither can exist without the other? Even animals lacking the human gift of speech, as we know it, communicate their thoughts with one another – as base as that communication might be?

The whole idea that ‘hate speech’ is somehow different than any other speech is ludicrous. Although I personally don’t think it advisable to mentally struggle with hate as it is an exercise in futility – or so it’s said? None-the-less you have every right to hate anybody you choose for whatever misguided reason(s) you like?

MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) is an individualist philosophy of life that advocates simply ‘walking away’ rather than either the normal ‘fight’ or ‘flight’ instinct(s). How misogyny is derived from simply ‘walking away’ is a ‘CONUNDRUM’ yet to be explained?

Each and every ‘individual’ has every right to agree, disagree, or posit yet something entirely different – that’s what ‘individual’ free thought, therefore speech, is all about – is it not? The academy has always been a designated forum for free and open discussion in addition to specialized training in one discipline or another – has it not?
