I deeply appreciate the informed and righteous genius of Jordan Peterson. Many times Peterson has given verbal long form responses to important questions. I would even go so far as to say that but for lack of pen or keyboard Peterson just wrote a very well developed essay on the subject at hand. In his dialog Jordan accentuates the profound significance and import of the question itself. The audience should come away feeling not necessarily unburdened by Petersons response but certainly more informed and enlightened than before.

I agree. The thing is, he usually is thinking aloud. The listener follows him from point A, the question itself, to some point B that may not be self-evident. But each step along the way is logically and emotionally connected so you can confirm the validity of the answer, of the destination, of that point B. That’s very powerful in a society where people leap to conclusions and then beat up anyone who disagrees with them. It’s almost Socratic.
