It's just one of at least a few ways to communicate to her. Ridicule is another and legitimate. An expected rebuttal would be that she doesn't deserve ridicule from millions of people from around the world. But this is not true. When we speak, act, or otherwise communicate a message we are passionate about the manner and venue in which we do so is our choice. In other words, Greta chose her audience size...pretty much most of the information connected world. The result will be some indiscernible division of for and against the premise she is promoting. I can't worry at all about her. I have kids, their friends, and players I coach. These are the youth in my community I communicate to and am obligated to care for and about. If her parents actually cared about her they'd pull her back from this spotlight. If they don't then there's little anyone else can do to shield her from ridicule.

I hear what you're saying.
I would add teachers as well - they can influence young minds greatly, good or bad. I currently work from home but I used to work with young people. No matter how immature they may appear, first, they need to be heard, and then they need to be guided and educated. Those teachers who allow children to skip school and join protest marches are not doing these very basic things. They've got to be ideologues themselves.

Some decades ago I worked in a steel plant. One of the older employees was a scrawny little German man - I think he was in his 50s when I started there.
He had been one of the infamous Hitler Youth in his early boyhood. They got to him in his formative years.
At the time I met him he lived and acted as though Nazi Germany had been dealt an unfair hand. He still hated Jews passionately...here is something he said on the topic Jews.
Someone (not me) asked him why the Nazis/Hitler killed all the Jews. Eagon (his name was Eagon Schultz) in his heavy German accent voice said "well, at first we tried to give them (the Jews) to Russia but they didn't want them. Then we tried to give them to the English and they didn't want them...we tried to give the Jews to anybody who might take them but nobody wanted them so, we burned them...what else could we do.

I was there - I heard him say that very thing. The point being that when you get a small child and indoctrinate them in a certain ideology that ideology becomes a permanent part of that person identity and can never be erased. It's too late for Greta Thumrberg. She is destined to live a life of frustration and anger toward any and all people who do not believe in her cultish religion - "The Church of Climate Change".

Greta was in Iowa City , Iowa this past week at least one day. She is teaming up with some of the Indians who did the pipeline protests to get Native Americans more involved.

@Quillsnkiko Perhaps she and her parents are now just a traveling vaudeville act cashing in and demanding appearance fees. Would be interesting to find out.
