Hello. You have good points but HOW is missing, if I may say so, and that is always a problem for me. HOW is what makes ideas reality.
I like the idea that we can make change at the local level if not at the individual level. For example, in my neighbourhood, a cleanup event is organised weekly - people actually get out on the street and pick up litter. It's simple but practical. It's better than complaining that the local authority isn't doing enough, i.e., you're not doing anything as a member of the community either. Society works better when pulled from the bottom; from a small scale, like taking individual responsibilities and neighbouring, to a large scale like getting involved in addressing municipal issues. If every single person takes responsibilities for their own actions and tries their best to live their lives well, society will be a much better place, I think.

@Naomi, Absolutely! You have to start at the local level, but if you have additional bandwidth or if the most important issues to you cannot be changed at the local level there are things you can do to seek synergies that only come at the National level.

In the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Michael (a devastating cat5 Hurricane that hit our state and especially our town) my grown children and my wife and I started work at recovery for ourselves and our neighborhood. We first made sure all our family was alive and unharmed physically. Then we did the same for our neighbors. Next we started securing safety for ourselves and neighbors. We sought synergy at every turn and pulled together charcoal grills that weren’t destroyed and started taking turns cooking food in our friges and freezers since there was no power (for a couple months). After getting a generator hooked up for the well and using debris to build an outside shower we covered the need for water and cleanliness for a few blocks. Most of our early days were spent on survival and communication for ourselves and our neighborhood, but soon we had to work on getting shelter secured for all of us and then slowly we could begin the recovery and rebuilding.

All of this did nothing to cover most of my largest priorities. Babies continued to be murdered, the national debt continued to grow out of control (to enslave future generations) and perversion continued to attack the minds of the young and the ignorant.

To to the “How”, some are called to serve and should serve “as unto the Lord”, some are called to coordinate and should ..., some can educate and should ..., all should at least vote (they should educate themselves on the issues and vote to the best of their ability). If we don’t do anything, we will have no right to complain about the National level issues.
