Did you find out if the guy was arrested, if so what charges, the mask thing may NOT have been the reason the guy was pulled off the bus.
I agree that some COPs are getting a little too P.C. now days!!
I started wearing a badge in 1970, I see the way Officers are treated by the public, and it makes me wonder who would want to do the job I did for over 25 years. In fact, when my grandson asked me if I thought he should join my old department, I told him NO!!!!!
Now days, the public treats Cops pretty poorly.
You get what you ask for!!!!!!! The quality of the applicants for those jobs today matches the lack of respect they receive on the job, NOT a good situation or outcome!!!!
