I have been saying for years now that voting for a republican is the same as voting for a democrat. The majority of conflict between the two parties is just a dog and pony show put on for the typical American voter. If you stand back and take a good long, objective look at the two parties this would be rather obvious I think.

Republicans have whined and cried about various socialist policies the democrats are known to champion like the modern welfare stare. Yet for all the screaming, and gnashing of teeth the GOP has not done anything to actually end this socialist program. Just like all the talk about ridding us of o-bomb-acare. What half assed moves they have made "challenging" the act they were all designed to fail, and fail they have done, epically. They promised people would face prison for the Fast and Furious program, especially when it was made public that this program eventually lead to the death of a Border Patrol agent. But after months of wasting millions of dollars on hearings the whole thing was conveniently swept under the rug leaving all the criminals involved to walk free.

Democrats do the same thing. They whine and cry about corporate welfare programs, illegal wars, and a host of other things republicans have done, yet they never make any real challenges to end these programs. O-bomb-a basically ran his first campaign as the "peace" candidate promising to end the illegal wars in Afghanistan, and Iraq. Instead he carried those wars on, and even expanded the illegal bombing of several other countries.

Trump is, in the long run, no different from the garden variety republicans we have had in office since the end of WWII. His campaign promises were mostly just empty rhetoric saying what inspired the voters into thinking things were really going to be different with this evil lesser. Yet this artcile tells us nothing of Trump using his authority to step in and see that all the illegal surveillance of American citizens is put to an end, illegal surveillance started by the last republican president, and carried on with the last democrat president, and even expanded under the last democrat. Congress recently tried passing a bill that was essentially "legalizing" the Constitution of the Untied States by putting an end to the president acting like a monarch when it came to starting up illegal wars whenever the sitting president so desired. The Constitution makes it very clear the only way this country can legally commit to war is for Congress to pass formal Declaration of war, something that has not been done since WWII. Trumps AG recently made a public statement that this administration's AG office was carefully watching various governors to make sure they did not violate Constitutional guarantees in issueing dictates over this virus scam. But so far I have not read anything about this administration actually stepping in like with the Michigan governor, or this crazy bimbo in the governor's mansion here in ORegon. This woman is using Child Protective Services to terrorize people into bowing to her authority with threats of having the sate kidnap their kids and hold them for ransom. And nothing is, or will be heard from the White House about this. How many governors that have violated their own stay at home dictates for their own personal convenience has this administration brought any kind of investigation, or charges against? NONE!
